Meet Melbourne’s top 10 Obstetricians! As you can imagine, I meet so many newborn families and I always hear amazing stories of their birth and how great their Obstetrician’s were. Here is a list of the top 10 that I have heard all about. In no particular order of course 😊
Dr Scott Schemer
I can’t go past my personal favourite, Dr Scott Schemer at Frances Perry House. Not only is he an amazing OB, but he is also one of the nicest people you will meet. We will be forever grateful for his time, care, and expertise in delivering our beautiful Annie.
Dr Scott Shemer is an obstetrician in Melbourne. Caring for women with normal to high risk pregnancies. Scott endeavours to provide dedicated, evidence-based, professional and compassionate care to pregnant women and couples throughout their entire pregnancy and birth. Scott’s practice is located at Frances Perry House, the private wing of the Royal Women’s Hospital.
Dr Alex Eskander
You can find Dr Alex at the Northern Private where he specialises in IVF and fertility, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. He was trained in obstetrics at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, and he comes very highly recommended by women who have high risk pregnancies and need fertility management.
Professor Ryan Hodges
Dr Ryan Hodges is one of the few obstetricians in Australia who specialises in caring for the highest risk pregnancies. He is head of Perinatal Services at Monash Health. He keeps super busy by working at Monash Health, Monash University plus runs his own boutique practice in Clayton.
Dr Samina Ahmed
Dr Samina’s services include both Obstetrics and Gynaecology with particular interest in Obstetrics, including antenatal care, management of labour and birthing.
